At the assembly we saw lots of videos and photos of the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park. What an amazing place that we need to look after. There is a really interesting website - youngoceanexplorers.com where you can watch some videos about our oceans.
Howick Historical Village gave us the experiences of making butter - it was delicious!, dressing up in Victorian clothes and a chance to be in a school from the 1800's - it was very strict. We also had a chance to look around the Village at the various old buildings.
Many children had a enjoyable rest on the way home!
Wow - what a great visit to Howick Historical Village! I can see you enjoyed a lot of different things. I am going next week with Room 25 - how exciting!
