This week we made some Chocolate Chip Chewy Matariki biscuits and really enjoyed eating them (except Lincoln and Jackson!)
We also had the end of term Disco, with the Matariki/Cosmic theme. Great job to everyone for their dancing.
On Thursday Kanzus won a prize for having a wrapper free lunch.
Jackson finished his Reading Log - Congratulations.
We have been talking about Volcanos and this week we were lucky to have people from the museum come and talk to us. Unfortunately I wasn't there but have some photos from Rm 11's session.
This week we read many books and watched some videos about Matariki. We also created some Matariki stars. Many people's favourite star was the wishing star - Hiwa - i - te-rangi.

PMP (Perceptual Motor Programme) was also back on this week - thanks to our volunteers.
Room 14 did a superb job in the Fresh and Smooth production. Congratulations to everyone and well done on your fantastic effort. Also congratulations to our certificate winners Abigail and Savannah.
Congratulations to all the people who ran in the Cross Country. Everyone showed Manawanuitanga (persistence and resilience) and did their best.

We continue to practise the Cross Country for our event next Tuesday. If you are coming along this starts at 930. Be there on the field around 920 to make sure you don't miss anything!
We are also practising for the school production, and making some props as well.

We all enjoyed Pink Shirt Day - a great way to remember how it is important to spread kindness and aroha to all and respect our differences as well as our similarities.
